While desiginging a nuclear family villa on this very large piece of land, maximising the view of the landscape was a key part of the idea. This villa for a Diamontaire sits on a 6000 square yard plot in the newly developed area on the outskirts of Surat. Architecturally, the form is generated by 5 cuboids stacked so that each one looks into the landscaped garden all around it. The paint free house has stone clad walls (Indian as well as Imported Italian stones) and form finished concrete ceilings.
