THE VEIL
Originally designed in 2016, the house was envisioned as a more expressive and fragmented form that the clients strongly connected with. However, the project remained unbuilt as the family decided to continue living in the adjoining residence with their brother. When the project was revisited in 2022, the brief had evolved with stricter Vastu requirements, greater exposure to contemporary architecture, and aspirations for a more refined modern luxury home on a 600 sq. yard plot.
The revised design responds with a cleaner and more restrained architectural language, balancing openness, privacy, and climatic performance. Large glazed living spaces, integrated greens, and layered façade elements work together to create a home that is contemporary, timeless, and closely connected to nature.
