SHĀMANAM

Shāmanam, named after a Sanskrit word for peace, is a 3-bedroom home designed by a client who is an architect himself. The home is intended to accommodate three generations, fostering a sense of peace, balance, and harmony with nature. The residence features careful material selection, organic finishes, and subdued color schemes. Nature-inspired elements and depictions of life are seamlessly integrated into the space through greens, curated artifacts, and evocative artworks, defining individual spaces. The overall design is guided by the principles of balance and symmetry, creating a space where visual harmony intertwines with functional fluidity, facilitating effortless movement and connectivity throughout.
