Snehal Shah is the Principal Partner and Managing Director of Essteam Design Services LLP, and also serves as Principal Partner at Urban Initiatives. He is the Chairperson of the IGBC Surat Chapter and an Adjunct Faculty at the Department of Architecture, SCET, Surat.

A double Gold Medalist from CEPT University, Ahmedabad—PGD Urban Design (2001) and GD Arch (1999)—he also pursued studies at TU Delft, the Netherlands. Practicing since 2001, Snehal has consistently demonstrated a strong inclination toward sustainable design and green building practices. He has played a pivotal role in the Indian Green Building Council, Surat Chapter, as its founding Co‑Chairman and current Chairman.

His professional strengths include concept design, space optimization, master planning, vision formulation, reusing materials, energy efficiency, and presentation narrative. Alongside his architectural practice, Snehal has been actively involved with NGO Oasis since 2003, contributing to character development and education initiatives.

Notable works include Oasis Valleys, Svasti Residence, and the revitalization of Gopi Talav, reflecting his ability to align creative courage with thoughtful, sustainable design solutions.
