DREAM CITY OFFICE BUILDING

The national design competition for the first smart city administrative office building of Dream City Surat, was a wonderful opportunity for us to venture into using technology to its fullest in designing a high-performance building. This building was designed on a site diagonally opposite to Surat Diamond Bourse, which will be just next to the upcoming Metro corridor. While designing a purely functional building we had tried to incorporate the public spaces in program to make it functional throughout the day, we have achieved through our design, very critical aspects like maximum natural daylit spaces with better cross ventilation, practically zero maintenance cost, flexibility of spaces, visually connected spaces with humanised scale and high security levels in the building.
